This week, I would like to share with you all my simple and elegant dangling flower earrings. I have used these flowers in some other earrings to have a drooping flower effect. I hope you all like this pattern.
Materials needed:
Abbreviation:
- MR – Magic Ring
- SS – Slip stitch
- CH – Chain
- SC – Single crochet
- TC- Treble crochet
- Picot – Ch 1, Slip stitch into the top of the stitch
Crochet pattern:
Flower:
The flower we are going to make has three petals. Make two per earring.
- Magic Ring
- Round 1 : CH 1, 6 SC, SS into first SC (Stitch count : 6)
- Round 2 : CH 1, 2 SC in every stitch from previous round, SS into first SC (Stitch count : 12)
- For petals, Step 1: CH 3, 1 TC in the same stitch
- Step 2: 1 TC , Picot in next stitch
- Step 3: 1 TC, CH 3 in next stitch
- Step 4: SS in the next stitch
- Repeat Step 1-4 for two times
- Your flower is ready!
Crochet chart:
I am still learning to use pattern-making software; as of now please check this unpolished hand-drawn crochet chart.
Assembly:
- Insert beads and flower through the T-pin, bend the ends using pliers to make a loop (Make 2)
- Open a jump ring, add lengthy chain and a flower to it
- Close the jump ring using pliers
- Open another jump ring, add short chain and another flower to it
- Close the jump ring using pliers
- Add the the two jump rings with chains and earring hook to a new jump ring and close it
- Our earring is ready!
