Crochet Sakura Earrings- Spring version

Hello friends!

Spring is here. One of the best seasons for long-walks and park visits. Sadly cherry-blossom season is about to end and I have been really wanting to create a very minimalistic crochet sakura petal earrings. I decided that this spring must be the season to make crochet cherry blossom petals. So I picked a beautiful petal from the park and made this simple earring pattern.

Materials needed:

  • DMC Crochet thread
  • Crochet hook 0.50 mm
  • Ring (Diameter: 2 cm)
  • Earring hook base
  • Jump rings

Abbreviations:

  • {SC, HDC}- Do the stitches inside the curly braces on the same stitches
  • Ch – Chain
  • SC – Single Crochet
  • HDC – Half Double Crochet
  • DC – Double Crochet
  • TC – Treble Crochet

Crochet Sakura Petal:

With Crochet thread,

  • Slip Knot, Ch 7 + Ch 1, 7 SC starting from the second chain from the hook
  • Ch 1, SC, {HDC, DC}, {2DC}, {3TC}, {TC,DC}, {DC,HDC}, HDC, Ch 2, SS in 8th chain from previous step
  • Ch 1, {SC,HDC}, {2DC}, {3TC}, {2DC}, {DC,HDC}, {HDC,SC}, SC, SS
  • Fasten off

Earrings Assembly:

  • Use diluted red dye to color the petal and let it dry
  • Open a jump ring , add single petal and ring
  • Open the loop in the earring hook base, add (ring+petal)
  • Tighten the loop and Our earrings are ready!
