These simple two-layered flower earrings are extremely beginner friendly, and easy on budget too. This is first pattern on classy but cheaper series, in which I try to make crochet jewelry in a limited budget.
Materials needed:
Abbreviations:
SS – Slip stitch
Ch – Chain
SC – Single crochet
HDC – Half double crochet
DC – Double crochet
TC- Treble crochet
MR – Magic ring
Crochet Pattern:
Double layered Flower:
The petals of this flower is done in front and back loop of the SCs of the previous round
- MR, Ch 1, 5 SC, SS in the first SC
- In the front loop of the same SC, Ch 3, 3 TC, Ch3 , SS in the same loop
- {SS in the front loop of the next SC, Ch 3, 3 TC, Ch3 , SS in the same loop}, Repeat 4 times
- SS in the Ch 1 from the step 1
- SS in the back loop of the first SC, Ch 3, 3 TC, Ch3 , SS in the same loop
- {SS in the back loop of the next SC, Ch 3, 3 TC, Ch3 , SS in the same loop}, Repeat 4 times
- SS in the Ch 1 from the step 1
- Fasten off and cut the extra threads
Our flower is ready!
Center part:
- MR, Ch 1, 5 SC in the MR, SS in the first SC
- Fasten off and cut off the extra threads
Leaf:
- Ch 10
- From the second Ch from the loop, SS, SC, HDC, DC, 3 TC, DC, HDC
- Fasten off and cut off the extra threads
Preparation:
Stiffen the flowers, leaves, and the center part with water-glue mixture or stiffener. Stick the center part in the flower using glue.
Assembly:
- Open a jump ring, add flower(petal from second layer) and leaf
- Open second jump ring, add the flower ( opposite petal from the previous step) and the jump ring
- Our earrings are ready !
