The new year will be soon upon us. I have been thinking about what I should do differently that brings happiness into my life in 2022. What about you?

I get to see different color Poinsettias this season and wanted to make red earrings for myself. Let me know what do you think about this microcrochet poinsettia earrings pattern. I hope you like it!
Materials needed:
- Crochet thread size no: 80 Red, Green
- Crochet hook 0.50 mm
- Earrings stud base
- Miyuki glass beads
- Glue
- Needle

Notations:
- MR – Magic ring
- CH – Chain
- SS – Slip stitch
- SC – Single crochet
- DC – Double crochet
- TC – Triple crochet
Crochet Pattern:
Flower (make 3):
- With red color thread, MR
- 6 SC in MR
- Tighten MR
- SS into first SC
- CH 6
- FIRST PETAL: SS into second stitch from the hook, {1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC }in the following chains, SS into the next stitch in MR
- SECOND PETAL: SS into the next stitch in MR , {1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC }in the following chains, SS into the next stitch in MR
- THIRD PETAL: SS into the next stitch in MR , {1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC }in the following chains, SS into the next stitch in MR
- SS into the next stitch in MR
- Fasten off
Assembly (Flower):
- Arrange flower parts one over the another so that all the petals are visible (refer picture below)
- Sew them together
- Use glue to stick beads to the center

Sepals:
- With green color thread, MR
- 5 SC
- SS into first SC
- 2 SC in every stitch from previous round
- SS into first SC of the second round
- CH 6, Slip stitch into the second CH from the hook, {1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC }in the following chains, Slip stitch into the next two stitch in MR
- Repeat previous step for 4 times ( Totally you will have 5 sepals)
- Fasten off
Assembly:
- Place some glue in the center of the sepals
- Insert the stud base through the center
- Stick the flower to the base ( use extra glue)
- Our earrings are ready!
